WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

A chance and proving ground for you to get a look at your team's passing offense and defense against some top flight competition in the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section. This promises to be a first class event with an emphasis on FUN, COMPETITION, FAIR GAME, and SPORTSMANSHIP.

FORMAT

Non-contact (no-pads) 7 on 7 football. No linemen (except center), all passing, geared towards all types of US high school offenses. Similar to what you might see at a Team Passing Camp, or "Skelly" session in your own practice. ELECTRONIC TIMERS WILL BE USED. C.I.F. referees will be used in all games.

ALL High School TEAMS of the 5 BIG COUNTIES ARE INVITED( CIF-SS, CIF-SD, CIF-LA); Orange County, LA County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, and San Diego County. Teams will be guaranteed at least five games (40 minute games) and as many as seven. Winners of bracket get automatic BID and # ONE ( 1 ) seed for NEXT "BIG MANA" SUMMER ALL CALIFORNIA & SOUTH PACIFIC INVITATIONAL!!! # 1 seeded plays after round robin.

This is a ONE and a HALF DAY format, FRIDAY AFTERNOON, and ALL DAY SATURDAY. Round Robin tournament, and seeded play. 1 game elimination for Championship bracket. Limited applications. First come first serve. 16 team format, 20 minute halves, 5 minute half-time/change direction/sides, RUNNING TIME, and 15 minutes to get to next field and game. Clock DOES NOT STOP during half, only for half-time and GAMEOVER.

ELIGIBILITY

Junior Varsity and Varsity Teams. 18 years old Max. Varsity CAN NOT play JV.

COST

Passing Tournament will be $200 per team. Non-refundable. Before April 8th.
On April 9th, the cost will be $250.00 per team.

INSURANCE AND LIABILITY

All participants must provide their own insurance. Prior to the event, coaches of all registered teams will receive a liability release form. All athletes must bring a completed copy of this form to the event in order to participate. There will be a certified medical trainer on site throughout the event. TRAINERS will be from the SPORT Clinic ( www.sportclinic.md ). TRAINERS ARE FOR INJURY ONLY COVERAGE. BRING YOUR OWN TAPES.

BIG MANA LINEMAN / STRONGMAN CHALLENGE ( VARSITY ONLY )

This year's event will again include the BIG MANA StrongMan LineMan Challenge. The competition will consist of five events:

1. 185 Pound Bench Press (number of reps) - Award: Bench Press Champ
2. Large Tire Flip - Award: Tire Flip Champ
3. Fireman Carry - Award: Fireman Carry Champ
4. 5-man Truck Push ( distance and timed )
5. Tug-o-War ( bring gloves and tape )
6. CHAMPIONS by TEAM POINTS ONLY

BIG MANA SPORTS/ HUMAN PERFORMANCE BOOTH

( Agility Speed Power ) will have a booth at our registration location and will be offering special team rates on football shoes, gloves, and various other types of equipment, upon availability. Tournament T-shirts and shorts will be available for sale.

FACILITIES

The Blast Sports Complex is a first class facility with 6 fully maintained grass fields. There are restrooms and snack shop available. Some fields will have filming facilities. $ 5.00 cover charge to park inside complex, per vehicle.

****NOTICE TO COACHES****

All coaches will receive a registration package complete with liability release forms, maps, complete rules, and any other event information approximately 5 days prior to the event, OR go online to, www.aspcsports.com, to download all forms for event. Coaches meeting prior to the first game @ 2:00pm, for Q/A session. The first game starts on Saturday at 2:30pm. Teams need to arrive early. SATURDAYS GAMES WILL START @ 9:00AM SHARP.

Each team will be asked to supply uniforms (preferably two sets with numbers).

The awards ceremony takes place immediately following the Championship Game.
